About the project
Live photography across a series of concerts through 2026: Rick Ross, Arcángel, Sech, Offset, Kapo, Maikel de la Calle, Ye and After the Weekend. This kind of work is about having images of every artist ready for press and social media, night after night, without relying on a long edit afterwards.
Show lighting changes colour every few seconds and almost everything is shot against the light, with the artist between the camera and the stage lights: that means shooting in bursts and anticipating the moment before it happens, because by the time the human eye reacts to a good gesture it has already passed. Eight different artists, eight different ways of moving on stage, and the same shooting approach for all of them.
The twelve published photos —from Rick Ross to After the Weekend— are a selection from a much larger archive: every night far more images get shot than end up used, and the final selection happens afterwards, looking for the one that best represents each specific artist, not simply the sharpest one technically.
