Prospa — multicam

Multicam recording of Prospa's set, in daylight at an outdoor venue with the crowd in front, on 30 May 2026. It is the opposite of a booth at night: there are no screens or lights to help separate the artist from the background, and no control over ambient light that shifts as clouds pass or the sun moves.

So the work lies in framing and in where each camera sits, not in exposure or playing with light sources the way a night session allows: it means finding angles where the background —the venue itself, the rest of the stage— doesn't visually compete with the artist, something darkness solves for free at night and that has to be solved through composition in daylight.

The goal is the same as for any live show: the whole set properly covered, with no gaps, plus plenty of footage for the social cuts afterwards. Daylight, even though it looks like the simpler of the two conditions, demands just as much camera planning as a night booth — only the decisions run the opposite way.
