Monegros — the site

The whole Monegros site from above, with the wheel, the stages and the crowd spread across the plain, shot on 8 September 2026 — the most recent piece in the whole studio archive to date. It shows the scale of the production at a glance, something no ground shot can hold no matter how wide the lens.

A site like Monegros, spread over a plain with barely any relief, poses a different challenge from a stadium or an enclosed club: there's no single natural high point to take it all in from, so the height and the framing have to come from the drone itself, climbing enough that the wheel, the spread-out stages and the crowd between them all fit in the same image without losing the sense of the whole.

It is one of the most recent shots in the archive and part of the event's aerial coverage, meant both for the aftermovie and for promoting the next edition: the same logic behind the rest of the studio's large-scale work, applied here to a site with neither the defined perimeter of a stadium nor the walls of a club.
