Metropolitano · 20 December 2025

About the project

Flight at the Metropolitano stadium for BRESH, who held one of their parties there on 20 December 2025. In a venue this size the drone is the only way to tell the whole space: the approach from outside, the stadium rim and the pitch, in a single run that shifts light and scale in a matter of seconds — outside there's sky and horizon, inside there's structure, stands and pitch, with the rim itself dictating where the aircraft can fly without losing its safety distance.

The challenge isn't only spatial. Going from outside to inside a stadium in one flight, with no cuts, means holding speed and framing steady while the visual references change completely. A miscalculated transition shows up immediately in the final shot. Checked with scene detection on the published piece: zero cuts, one flight start to finish.

A flight like this isn't improvised on the day. It's planned ahead, coordinated with the venue, with a route rehearsed before the party starts so the drone knows exactly which path to take and at what height, without having to decide on the fly with the crowd already inside. The result is an opening shot meant to place the viewer before the rest of the content begins: anyone watching understands at a glance where they are and the scale of what comes next.

It's also the kind of shot no ground camera or crane can get: no camera on the ground covers the distance from the street to the centre of the pitch in a single move, let alone holding the coherence of an unbroken take. It's proof the crew can fly over large crowds with the margin for error a venue that size demands — the same argument behind the rest of the large-event work.
