- Aftermovie
29 October 2025
About the project
Hands up under the blue light, with the crowd filling the whole frame, shot on 29 October 2025, ten days after the previous piece in the same series. In an aftermovie the crowd's reaction counts as much as the artist: it is what convinces anyone who missed it that next time they have to go, more than any shot of the stage on its own.
A sala-llena shot only works if the crowd genuinely reacts in that moment, so it can't be planned precisely the way a drone flight can: it's watched for through the whole set, alert to the night's peaks of energy, and shot when it happens, not when it suits the shoot plan.
Filmed at 3840×2880, within a run of dates on the same circuit, with the same visual approach every night: keeping that approach consistent across different dates is what lets several nights be cut together into one longer piece without the jump between sessions showing.
